All applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• You are a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Have attained outstanding academic achievement (B average or higher) upon high school graduation (grade 11 and 12).
• Must be graduating or have graduated from a public high school in one of the following school districts : 61 (Victoria), 62 (Sooke), 63 (Saanich), 64 (Gulf Islands)
• Be accepted into a full-time course of study in an academic, career, technical or skilled trades program in the Fall of 2016 and be within 12 months of high school graduation.
• Be able to demonstrate ways in which you have contributed to your community

Application Process

• Complete the Thrifty Foods Entrance Award online application. Paper/printed applications will not be accepted.
• Application deadline is August 1, 2016. All supporting documentation must be received by this date. Late applications will not be accepted.
• Adjudication of this award will be managed by the Financial Aid & Awards office. All decisions are final.
• Successful recipients will be notified by email by October 1, 2016.
• Award will be applied directly to the student account. If tuition and fees have already been paid, the surplus amount will be refunded.

4. Check for errors prior to submitting; NO CHANGES are permitted after submitting
