Use this form to request an extension of your tuition & fee payment deadline. If your request is approved, you still have to pay your fees but at a later date. A tuition & fee deferral is for one term of study at a time. You must reapply every term. Tuition & Fee Deferrals must be approved prior to the tuition & fee payment deadline.

Proof of Funding MUST accompany all tuition & fee deferral requests and should include:

• Source of funding (eg. RESP, RRSP, EI, external award or other)
• Student name
• Amount of funding available

Note: DO NOT include personal information, such as social insurance number and bank account numbers. Attachments providing reasons for non-payment or payment plan requests through this form are not considered proof of funding and will be denied.

If you drop courses, decide not to attend classes, or become ineligible for funding, you are responsible for withdrawing from your courses and for any fees or penalties that may result. Refer to Camosun Fees and Financial Polices and Procedures for further information.

It is important to know your tuition fee deadline. Camosun College tuition fees are payable on a term-by-term basis. Please see Important Dates & Fee Deadlines for details.

STOP! A Tuition & Fee Deferral request form is NOT required if prior to the tuition & fee deadline you have:

• Applied for government student loans and grants (BC and other provinces)
• Approved for Adult Upgrading Grant
• Approved for Provincial Tuition Waiver Program
• Submitted proof of sponsorship, prior to the tuition & fee payment deadline,

Automatic tuition & fee deferrals for those listed above will appear on your myCamosun account and you will receive an email notification. Sponsorships will appear in your myCamosun account as a sponsorship amount under Student Finance.
