On behalf of the Co-operative Education and Career Services department thank you for volunteering to participate as a beta tester. You will be testing the career module of the new Co-op and Career Services Portal prior to its launch. We will be testing the Co-op module of the Co-op and Career Services Portal later in the fall. Please be aware that, as a voluntary tester, you are free to withdraw at any time without prejudice. To opt out, declare so in an email addressed to Education that Works.

Individuals who consent will be granted access to the Co-op and Career Services Portal in the beta testing phase. As a beta tester, your access information is restricted and must not be shared with others. It is possible that during the beta test phase the personal information of other beta testers may be visible to you. This information is restricted and must not be shared with others.

During the testing process your personal information will be used by Camosun employees in the Co-operative Education and Career Services department, our Information Technology Services department, and employer and student beta testers. External program administrators for the Career Services Portal (Orbis) may be accessing personal information to assist with technical questions. At no time will this information be available to other students or the general public. All participants will have to agree to the safeguarding of privacy by adhering to the standards of the Freedom of Information and Privacy Act (FOIPPA).

Your personal beta test information will be retained until test completion, at which time all beta test information will be deleted.
