Eligibility Criteria

All applicants must:

  • Be enrolled at Camosun College in the 12 months prior to the award application deadline.
  • Demonstrate strong academic performance, with a minimum GPA of 6.0 (B+).
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills.
  • Preference is given to full-time students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents.

Selection Process

  • The Awards Committee will review applications and recommend a recipient. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  • As Grade Point Average is a criteria for this award, the Awards Committee will be reviewing Camosun College transcripts.
  • The successful recipient will be notified by email no later than 6 weeks after the award application closing date.

  • Attach one letter of reference from a professional source in support of your commitment to community engagement and involvement at Camosun College or the broader community.

Camosun College Award Declaration

  6. I consent that Camosun College may release application information to the Camosun College Foundation Office and to the award donor.
  7. If I receive $500 or more in awards funds in one year, a statement for income tax purposes will be sent to me by Camosun College.
