To be eligible for a School of Business award, you must:

have been enrolled in a School of Business program or course for at least one semester during May 1, 2024 – April 30, 2025
meet all the criteria listed for an award
be in good academic standing with the college

Please complete and submit the following form by April 30, 2025 @ 11:59 pm. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Award Ceremony: To be determined

For money to be awarded, Camosun must have the following information: Social Insurance Number (SIN), name, address, and banking information. Please log in to your myCamosun and update your information if necessary.

Recipient names and qualifying information will be shared with Camosun College Foundation and the donor(s) associated with the bursary.

Due to the large volume of applications received, only award winners will be contacted.

This award is available to students enrolled in a School of Business program who demonstrate the ability to excel in customer service, show interest for sustainability, display strong teamwork, and have shown community involvement.

This award is available to graduates of the Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting Option program who have achieved high academic standing and have contributed to the Camosun College or accounting community. This could be through networking, service, or volunteering.

This award is available to students enrolled in an accounting program with satisfactory academic standing who have exhibited leadership, teamwork, and determination, and who help their community through voluntary efforts. Preference will be given to students in Year 3 or beyond. (Developed by the CGA Legacy Chapter).

This award is available to students enrolled in an accounting program who intend to pursue a Chartered Professional Accountant designation and with proven academic excellence in a least 4 courses of the Chartered Professional Accountant program.

This award is available to students enrolled in an accounting program who have achieved high academic standing in ACCT 240 and at least one other taxation course, ACCT 375 or ACCT 475 and who have applied their knowledge by completing tax returns on a volunteer basis within the College and/or Greater Victoria community.

This award is available to full-time woman-identifying accounting students entering their final year of studies and have taken a computer science, business information systems, systems analysis, system analysis design, or e-business course, or entering their last year of post-degree diploma (Accounting Option) studies who studied and completed a STEM undergraduate degree, or entering their last year of studies who have work experience in the tech industry.

This award is for a student enrolled in a School of Business program with good academic standing who has completed a minimum of 50 hours of volunteer work on Southern Vancouver Island/Gulf Islands. To qualify for this award, a letter of recommendation is required from any volunteer organization(s).
